Serviceberry - A gift that keeps giving


Did you know that the more names a plant has, the greater its cultural importance? By that measure, the humble serviceberry lives up to its name. This native plant is common in the Bellingham area and can be found growing on Sehome Hill, around Lake Padden and on the Chuckanut mountains.
